LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dr. Marlene Beggelman, the founder and CEO of Enhanced Medical Decisions, Inc., has innovated healthcare technologies for over 25 years. Having led numerous companies from inception through launch, Dr. Beggelman has invented ways to directly address many difficult issues confronting the quality of healthcare in the U.S. via technology. Currently, Dr. Beggelman and her team are focusing their efforts on DoubleCheckMD.com. Dr. Beggelman is an Internist with an MD degree from Harvard Medical School, a degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health, and a degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts.

Yuri Smychkovich is Enhanced Medical Decision, Inc.'s Lead Architect. Mr. Smychkovich holds Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nuclear Physics and Computational Analysis from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and has worked in a variety of innovative technology fields, including: Research Engineer in the Institute of High Temperatures, Moscow; Co-founder, Designer and Infrastructure Engineer of ASUAS, Ltd. - creator of Russia's first online, updatable legal database; and Director of Engineering in Conextions, Inc., in Andover, MA. Mr. Smychkovich acted as the Senior Systems Architect with Wellogic in Cambridge, MA, doing data integration for the healthcare industry before joining Enhanced Medical Decisions, Inc. in 2005.
